Checking In At The Legislature:
May 2021 Update

Neighbors and Friends,

I have a lot of updates to share since my last newsletter. I got COVID 3 days after the legislative session ended, was in the hospital for a week, and on oxygen for nine more weeks. I’m finally getting my energy back. Thank you for all the well wishes! I appreciate that vaccinations are here and that the state has been fully opened for business.

Utah has been lauded as having the #1 economy for the 14th year in a row! Good policy, small government, and low taxes contributed to this award. As a legislature, we are proud of our continued efforts to strengthen our economy. Keeping our state open and doing business during the pandemic is one of the key reasons Utah is a great place to live and work.

Enjoy the beautiful weather coming our way!
