CHECKING IN AT THE LEGISLATURE: 2024 LEGISLATIVE SESSION THE FINAL WEEK

Dear neighbors and friends,

As our legislative session has come to an end, I want to provide you with a summary of the bills I've been working on. I’ve also included other important updates and resources for you to browse legislative changes on topics you are interested in. In the events section of this Newsletter, you’ll find information on Caucus night March 5th, at 6:30 PM.

We will continue our legislative work with public committee meetings once a month from April-Nov and with our service on many commissions and councils.

It has been an honor to serve you in the Utah House of Representatives. I appreciate many of you who have reached out all year with ideas and resources to make Utah better.

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement in our legislative process. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at mballard@le.utah.gov or 801-633-6561.

Warmest regards,

Melissa
